Flying free single from new album Frequencies

The tunes of the album are all small stories like a travelogue or a “carnet de voyages”, a set
of sensations and frequencies I felt when traveling the world.

This is the sensation I feel when sat in the plane and thinking about my destination.
Such an exciting feeling, because a new adventure is about to begin!

“Flying in the sky
Moving in the air
Discovering new places
Making friends from everywhere

Flying in the sky
With the birds and the clouds
Moving in the air
Forever”

This is an optimistic song in a 1960’s mood with happy guitar and bass parts! Flying is a hymn to the journey and this is dedicated to all the people who travel and love it.

A couple of years ago, I recorded in Cairo Egypt.

It’s a fascinating city with 20 millions people living in the middle of the desert. It is great in summertime even though it’s very hot and there’s big traffic jams, the Nile River crosses the town and brings fresh air.

Cairo’s history is [...]

When I travel, I always try to focus on environmental sounds. That’s not so easy because your eyes often take the leadership of your senses. Most of the time we hear but we don’t listen to all of sounds around us.

If you pay attention to all sounds around you can capture some [...]
